Leslie Boultbee is a freelance illustrator and fine artist based in Toronto. She is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design. She always loved art but never knew she wanted to be an illustrator until she worked at Saturday Night Magazine and National Post Business Magazine as an art intern. Her internship experiences exposed her to the world of freelance illustration and she decided that was what she wanted to do.
She often works in watercolour, but is skilled in any medium. Her work has been awarded by Applied Arts Magazine in the July/ August 2002 issue. Her clients have included the Toronto Star, Allure Salon and Spa: 416 484 6166 and Al's Toys. She is very easy to work with and understands her clients well because of her experience as an art intern. She has participated in numerous art shows in the GTA, including: The Broken Fence Society Juried Exhibition & The Distillery District Art Show.
